Florytics is designed with privacy in mind. All your plant data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

3. Permissions We Request

To provide full functionality, Florytics requests the following permissions:

3.1 Camera Permission

Why we need it: To allow you to take photos of your plants directly within the app.

How we use it: Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to external servers.

3.2 Photo Library/Storage Access

Why we need it: To allow you to select existing photos from your device's gallery and to save plant photos.

How we use it: We only access photos you explicitly select. All photos remain on your device.

3.3 Notifications Permission

Why we need it: To send you reminders when it's time to water or fertilize your plants.

How we use it: Notifications are generated locally on your device based on the care schedules you set.

3.4 Exact Alarm Permission

Why we need it: To ensure watering reminders are delivered at the exact time you specify.

How we use it: This allows precise timing for your plant care reminders.

3.5 Boot Completed Permission

Why we need it: To restore your watering reminders after your device restarts.

How we use it: Ensures your reminders continue working after device reboot.

3.6 Vibration Permission

Why we need it: To provide haptic feedback for notifications and interactions.

How we use it: Enhances the user experience with tactile feedback.

4. How We Use Your Information

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• We do not have access to your plant data
• We do not share your information with third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics
• We do not track your usage or behavior

5. Data Security

Your data security is important to us. All information is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by your operating system. We recommend:

• Keeping your device password-protected
• Using device encryption if available
• Regularly backing up your device

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• You can delete individual plants at any time within the app
• Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data
• We do not retain any data after app uninstallation

7. Children's Privacy

Florytics does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to function.

8. Tracking and Analytics

Florytics does not track your activity, behavior, or usage patterns. The App does not use any analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. We do not participate in any cross-app or cross-site tracking. The App fully complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework — no tracking permission is requested because no tracking occurs.

9. GDPR Compliance (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the following additional rights and information apply:

• Legal Basis: Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, there is no personal data processing that requires a legal basis under GDPR. In-app purchase transactions are processed by the platform (Google/Apple) as an independent data controller.
• Data Controller: For locally stored data, you are the sole controller of your information.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.
• Data Transfers: We do not transfer any personal data outside your device. Purchase transactions are handled by Google or Apple under their own data protection policies.

10. CCPA Compliance (California)

If you are a California resident, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• We do not collect personal information beyond what is stored locally on your device
• You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out — however, since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, these rights are exercised directly through the App and your device settings

11. Third-Party Services

Florytics uses platform billing services (Google Play Billing on Android, Apple App Store on iOS) for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled by the respective platform in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy or Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. All purchase validation is handled through the platform's billing service.

Apart from in-app purchases, the app functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection for its core features.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Your Rights
